On Power

     As stated by Thomas Jefferson, power is the art of bending the world to one’s will. Simply put, authority comes from the ability to control those who surround, manipulate the society one finds themselves within, and the intuition to move masses of people to support their leader. This trait has been sought after for as long as humans have dominated this world. Once mankind had dominion over their surroundings, they then turn their attention to dominate others. In truth, power is an energy which cannot be controlled, but rather controls the souls of ambitious men and women forever
