On Prophets
Within every generation, there is always a prophet. He is always wise, studying the ways of the world. He ensures that he understands the right thoughts, the right words and the right deeds necessary to ensure a fruitful and successful life. However, one must ensure that they are not deceived. For whenever there is a good man of faith, there is also an evil one which utilizes his religion to prey on the desperate. Instead of hope, he grants them servitude; he will tell them whatever it takes to make his word law over their lives. By freeing himself within his perspective of self-righteousness, he proclaims to his congregants that his own rule is law. Truly, the habit does not necessarily dress the monk. The best way to determine his worth is to look into his actions, not through his words. For no man can conceal with his hands what his heart chooses to reveal.
