Silence is Golden
There is great power in the art of silence. In a world filled with noise, it’s different to find someone who is comfortable to endure the pains of a soundless plane. In a world where every single follicle of time is easily filled with something which fills the ears, one may find themselves uncomfortable in a realm without a medium of noise surrounding them. In a world which seems overflown by men who love to hear themselves speak, it’s unusual to find the man who is perfectly fine with bridling his own tongue. Instead of saying less, his words retain their power. By not wasting his voice with meaningless matters, his diction finds worth in the minds of those who listen. Though limiting his own speech, he is able to listen to the speeches of others, gaining wisdom in the process. Much like the life of a magus, he sees the actions of others and chooses to implicate of refuting those ideas through logic and not passion; he has this ability from the simple discipline which erected itself through his power over his own instinctive voice pertaining to a subject. In truth, by placing this simple control over one’s own self, they will reap the benefits, even if seeming, like a wise and powerful adversary to their enemies.
