Fireside Chat: Tyranny of the Minority
It was A.H. Weiber who revealed to us that:
Nothing is impossible for the man who doesn’t have to do it himself.
Such thinking is all too familiar in our ruling class in America. Politicians, funded by our REAL elites, work for their PACs. They use platitudes, feign concern for children, and insist they work for us. They invoke God's name when they win, but their actions only breed tyranny. During COVID, it was the Teachers Union, not the people's will, that insisted upon remote learning. It was United Healthcare, Cigna, Centene, Anthem, and Molina who reaped the benefits from Obama Care, as explained in an AMA journal:
These are important questions of public policy because the use of market power harms society in both output and input markets. When an insurer exercises market power in its output market (the sale of insurance coverage), premiums are higher and quantity of coverage is lower than in a competitive market. When an insurer exercises market power in its input market (e.g., physician services), payments to providers and the quantity of health care are below competitive levels. In short, the exercise of market power adversely affects health insurance coverage and health care.
The truth is clear: we are not without choice; we are not without power. This country may be dominated by six media companies, a dozen landowners, and four major labor unions, but we are not powerless against corruption and special interests. We may be tempted by nihilism, questioning if we are destined to live in this world of corruption. But are we destined to spend our lives trapped in this labyrinth, only using the hope of the future to escape the present? I say no! As Boswell writes:
When I say that all governments are alike, I consider that in no governmental power can be abused long. Mankind will not bear it. If a sovereign oppresses his people to a great degree, they will rise and cut off his head. There is a remedy in human nature against tyranny, that will keep us safe under every form of government.
This quote from Boswell underscores the resilience and power of the people in the face of oppressive regimes, serving as a reminder that change is possible even in the most challenging circumstances.
Remember that we were all mankind until race hustlers disconnected us, charlatans separated us, ideologues divided us, and particular interests classified us. Therefore, remember the words of King Solomon when he wrote the fourth chapter of the Book of Proverbs:
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get understanding.
Lastly, remember that corruption may persist for a while but is not eternal. It will pass away, giving way to a brighter, more just future.
